Delete your Vaulto Note account
You can delete your Vaulto Note account, and the data stored with it on our servers, at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
1. Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open Vaulto Note and sign in.
- Go to Settings and scroll to Delete Account.
- Choose whether to keep the notes on your phone or erase them too.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Your account and server data are deleted right away, and the app signs you out.
2. Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, send a request by email:
Email random1k11@gmail.com with the subject “Vaulto Note account deletion”.
Send it from the email address of the account you want to delete, so we can confirm the request comes from the account owner. If you signed in with Google, use that Google email address. We may reply to verify the request before deleting anything.
Email requests are completed within 30 days, and we reply to confirm once the account is deleted.
3. What is deleted
- Your account: email address, name and sign-in details (including the link to Google sign-in).
- Active sessions and sign-in tokens on all devices.
- All synced notes, including their earlier versions and deleted notes kept for sync.
- Voice recordings stored on our servers.
- Encryption keys and encryption settings stored for your account.
- Usage history, transcription balances, subscription status records and registered devices.
4. What is not affected
- Notes on your phone. When you delete in the app you choose whether to keep them or erase them. Uninstalling the app removes them.
- Subscriptions. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play or the App Store to stop payments. Purchase records are kept by Google or Apple under their own policies.
- De-identified or aggregated information that cannot identify you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
